Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Final Audit: Review executed loan closing packages for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal regulations and company guidelines.
- Condition Clearing: Verify and clear all "Prior-to-Funding" (PTF) conditions.
- Wire Authorization: Coordinate with Title and Escrow companies to calculate final wire amounts and initiate the funding process.
- Partner Support: Act as the primary point of contact for external brokers and title agents to resolve funding discrepancies quickly.
- Data Integrity: Ensure all loan data in the LOS (Loan Origination System) matches the final signed documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in mortgage loan processing, closing, or funding (TPO experience preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Loan Origination Systems (e.g., Encompass, Empower) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge: Understanding of TRID, RESPA, and general mortgage compliance.
- Attributes: Exceptional "eagle-eye" attention to detail and the ability to work under tight, same-day funding deadlines.
- Communication: Professional phone and email etiquette for handling external partner relationships.
