Position Overview The Loan Officer Assistant is responsible for taking incoming leads, managing the lead tracker, and following up to schedule client consultations with the Loan Officer. In preparing the loan pre-approval, the Loan Officer Assistant pulls and analyzes applicant credit information, and reviews income and asset documents. As a member of the sales team, the Loan Officer Assistant requests and obtains referrals from current and potential CCM clients and follows up with prospects consistent with established best practices. Job Responsibilities Take incoming leads for the branch. Schedule initial consultations. Meet branch objectives specific to pre-qualifications and pre-approvals. Attend branch events to assist Loan Officer in building clientele. Complete and maintain branch-assigned checklists, prospect follow up, file set-up, and analyses within allotted branch deadlines. Request and obtain referrals from current clients and realtor partners. Run automated underwriting (DU or LP). Issue pre-approvals consistent with DU or LP findings. Available to work overtime, if needed. Qualifications And Skills High School Diploma or equivalent. NMLS License Preferred but not required. Minimum 2 years of customer service or inside sales experience – real estate or mortgage industries, a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications. Experience working with Encompass, DU, and LP, preferred. Excellent communication skills. Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent prioritization and time management skills. Pay and Benefits Hourly Rate: $32.00 - $35.00 Eligible for per file bonus The posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
