Job Description

Our mission is to cure cancer through high-performance, accessible early cancer detection. That means saving lives. Delfi Diagnostics is a Johns Hopkins spinoff focused on the non-invasive detection of cancer at earlier stages, when it is most curable. DELFI uses artificial intelligence and whole genome sequencing to detect unique patterns of DNA fragmentation in the blood of patients with cancer. These analyses are performed through simultaneous examination of millions of DNA sequences using machine learning to identify tumor-specific abnormalities.

About the Role

In this role, you will help maintain the IT infrastructure in our Palo Alto office while supporting remote users nationwide. You will be responsible for helping plan, initiate, and execute IT projects. You will assist with break/fix helpdesk tickets, and help onboard new users in our environment.

What you'll do

  • Help troubleshoot remote users' errors in our environment and resolve any networking issues in the Palo Alto office.
  • Assist with vendor management activities for Palo Alto office IT projects.
  • Facilitate the installation of networking equipment and ensure it is working correctly.
  • Complete onboarding activities for new users within our environment while assisting the IT team with our day-to-day IT activities.

  • Maintain IT policies and procedures for users inside the office.
  • Enabled best practice security measures on all laptops and developed strategies to support facilities with badging activities.
  • Assisted with the completion of corporate goals.
  • Assisted with IT infrastructure activities.

What you'll bring to DELFI

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Capable of working on tasks/projects individually and as part of a team.
  • 3+ years of Apple macOS and Microsoft Windows desktop support.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Workspace and Microsoft O365.
  • 3+ years of Jumpcloud management or Active Directory.
  • 2+ years supporting corporate networks and basic troubleshooting. Fortinet experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of server maintenance.
  • Effective communication/customer service skills with all levels within the organization.
  • Preferred

  • Related technical certifications such as CompTIA A+
  • Familiar with Confluence, Jira management, Okta management, Fortinet administration, Jumpcloud administration
  • CLIA Lab Experience
