Job Description
Seeking a regular part-time Genetic Counselor to join our team in the Center for Special Children at our La Farge Medical Clinic location. This Genetic Counselor will participate in the evaluation of new patients, assist physicians with genetic testing decisions, provide pretest and posttest genetic counseling services to families, and manage diagnostic and carrier testing records.
Hours are three days per week. Approximately 48 hours per bi-weekly pay period. M.S. degree in Genetic Counseling, current WI License as Genetic Counselor, Certified Genetic Counselor by the American Board of Genetic Counseling (or certification within first year) along with experience with interpretation and reporting of genetic test results required. Understanding of diverse populations and cultural diversity strongly preferred.
