Schedule: Weekday afternoons (after school hours) & Saturdays
Compensation: Paid weekly

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and patient caregiver to support a 15-year-old girl in Flint, MI, who has a cognitive impairment and schizophrenia. This position is ideal for someone with experience in behavioral or mental health support and a genuine passion for working with youth.

Responsibilities Include:

• Providing supervision and emotional support after school and on Saturdays

• Assisting with daily routines, tasks, and recreational activities

• Supporting emotional regulation and behavior management

• Following an individualized care plan and maintaining a calm, structured environment

• Ensuring safety at all times

Qualifications:

• Experience working with individuals with cognitive or mental health conditions preferred

• Calm, dependable, and able to respond appropriately in challenging situations

• Strong communication skills

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred but not required

• Must pass background check
