I'm sure it's no secret that we here at Clickable really, really  love talking about cartoons. You can find all of our channels on our website, but to offer a really quick rundown: We've got JarToon and it's newly launched sister channel JarAnime , cover the entire stories of different cartoons/anime (lore-lovers this one may be for you)! No Villains Are SAFE! takes some of the beloved characters from those cartoons places them in jail (where some of them probably belong, let's be so real) based on their fictional crimes in the show. TV Guy takes different elements of our favorite shows and ranks them. Finally, Scribbl is the one stop shop for all the weird, interesting, and wild antics that make us love these shows in the first place. Cartoons not your thing? We've got you covered! For anyone that prefers something a bit more serious and gritty, we've also got some openings on our True Crime Channel:  Ex-Cop.

Long story short, we're lookin' for editors across the board, even potentially for some future projects!! Each channel has it's own style, experience requirements and such, but not to worry, we'll always make sure to set you guys up for success and see if we can find the correct space for you and your style! There is one key through line for every one, we're looking for editors that can bring the footage, the voice overs, the scripts to life with digestible visuals, smooth transitions and engaging edits!

Editor Duties & Responsibilities :

• Craft creative and engaging edits through pacing, comedic timing, and building context with visuals
• Hit deadlines to ensure a consistent flow of content, while still focusing on quality

Editor Requirements :

• Strong understanding of Premiere Pro (After Effects for specific animations is a bonus!)
• Comfortable using Frame.io for revisions and feedback
• Have a Discord account. We work with people from all over the world, so Discord is our primary method of communication.
• Capable of following design and animation principles (visual hierarchy, balance, tone)
• Superb active communication skills, we love to hear updates about your progress throughout.
• Have a malleable style, being able to take your personal visual direction and embed it within a desired frame.
• Self-starter
• Team-player, putting videos together is a team effort! The editors play a vital role in the team.
• Strong time-management skills. Deadlines are paramount , but so is quality! Meeting deadlines while still focusing on quality is key.
• Fan of all things animation! You, of course, have to have a certain passion for the content you produce!

Money-Talk: $140-$315 per video , the very hyper-specifics of this number will change drastically depending on channel and the particular video, but will always fall somewhere in that range

Deadline : 5-7 days per edit

Workload : ~3-4 edits per month to start out

Hiring Process : Once you have applied, the hiring team will personally be looking through every application. If we see some skillsets that look like they'll translate, we'll be in contact about the hiring process! For the sake of transparency, the first step in that hiring process is an unpaid trial edit, wherein you put together a two-minute snippet of a video that is used for us to get a benchmark of your skill set. You'll be provided with resources for this project (and all projects thereafter). Beyond this, it serves to give you a feel for the type of content we're looking to produce! Following this (and any potential revisions), if we like what we're seeing, we'll move you onto some paid work, where you'll be assigned a full video. If anyone has any questions in regards to the hiring process, I am happy to answer them!
