Our client base includes a range of large, publicly traded companies, as well as privately held industrial, retail, construction and service companies. Role Description Workers compensation Claims Adjuster needed for a fast paced, high volume practice. The Claims Adjuster will be responsible for managing workers compensation claims and providing exceptional customer service to clients. Qualifications Claims handling and management skills Strong customer service and computer skills Excellent organizational and analytical abilities Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Effective communication skills Experience working in the legal or insurance industry is a plus Duties/Responsibilities: A workers compensation claims adjuster is responsible for managing workers compensation claims filed by injured workers. The adjuster needs to understand the Ohios Bureau of Workers Compensation guidelines and regulations, have the ability to read and comprehend medical documentation, make initial determinations on claims, prepare and file appropriate forms with the Bureau of Workers Compensation, identify care needs, establish a plan of action and communicate with medical providers, employers, attorneys and injured workers to successfully resolve claims.
