Express Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to deliver a high-quality rehabilitative care. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and regain physical function following injury, surgery, or illness.

13 week contract 

32 hours per week

Overall hourly rate: $37.19

Per diem eligibility: $550.00

Weekly Gross: $1190.00

Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and proper use of equipment.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean therapy environment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state of Hawaii licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Minimum 1 year of recent PTA experience (within the past 24 months/2 years)
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
