WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Wellsville, New York.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Wellsville, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,073 per week for this role.  

Job Function:  

\n

• Day Shift.
\n
• 3x12: 7am - 7pm.
\n
• Prepares and administers (orally, subcutaneously, through an IV) and records prescribed medications.    
\n
• Reports adverse reactions to medications or treatments in accordance with the policy regarding the administration of medications by a licensed registered nurse.  
\n
• Educates patients on surgical procedures; Records patients’ medical information and vital signs.  
\n
• Monitors and adjusts specialized equipment used on patients, and interprets and records electronic displays.  
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN).
\n
• Active RN license in the state of New York.
\n
• 2 years of acute Med/Surg RN experience required.
\n
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
\n
• PALS and NIHSS certifications required.
\n
