Full Job Description: Our mission at Treston Security Services is to set a new standard for private security services, focusing entirely on our clients and their assets. We are looking for a dependable, professional Hotel & Event Security Officer to join our growing team in Murfreesboro. This role requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to remain calm in dynamic event environments. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety of guests, staff, and property at hotels and special events. Responsibilities: Monitor hotel and event premises to prevent unauthorized access or suspicious activity Greet and assist guests, clients, and vendors with a professional and courteous demeanor Perform regular security patrols and incident reporting De-escalate tense situations and respond swiftly to emergencies Enforce property rules and coordinate with local authorities when necessary Qualifications: Must meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers. Additional requirements include: Required: High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years old Valid Guard Card (or ability to obtain one) Dallas's Law Training Reliable communication and transportation Legal authorization to work in the U.S. Strong verbal and written English communication skills Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening Professional demeanor and ability to remain composed under pressure Strong organizational and problem-solving skills Preferred: OC/Pepper Spray Certification 2+ years experience in nightlife customer service or event security High school or equivalent education License (Required): Guard Card Optional: OC/Pepper Spray Certification About Treston Security Service: Treston Security Services is a veteran-owned protective services company focused on reliability, training, and high-impact service.
