Job Description

Our client, a dynamic organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a Temporary Accounts Payable Associate to join their team. As a Temporary Accounts Payable Associate, you will be part of the finance department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Temporary Accounts Payable Associate

Location: Marquette, MI

Pay Range: $20.00 to $24.00 per Hour

Shift: Full time, M-F day shift with 30 minute lunch.

What's the Job?

• Receives, verifies, and processes invoices for payment in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with company policy.
• Analyzes and resolves invoice/statement discrepancies with vendors while maintaining positive vendor relationships through responsiveness to their inquiries.
• Assists in the process and maintenance of all accounts payable records by indexing and archiving.
• Contacts other departments and outside agencies to resolve problems.
• Assists with customer service-related activities such as order intake and resolving various issues with B2B customers.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel or similar spreadsheet software.
• Prior experience with SAP, QuickBooks, or similar Accounting/ERP software.
• 2 to 3 years of accounts payable experience preferred.
• Temporary for approximately 3 months.
