Tax Controversy Associate The ideal candidate will have practical experience with tax controversy disputes, including audits, appeals, and litigation, as well as experience with substantive federal income tax issues. Corporate and partnership experience is a plus. The candidate should also have experience with law firms, accounting firms, IRS, Tax Court, and/or Department of Justice (Tax Division). A degree in accounting, CPA license, or LL.M. in Tax is helpful but not required. Candidates must have excellent academic and employment credentials, with demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written forms, with strong attention to detail. The successful candidate should be able to work independently and efficiently, as well as collaboratively within a team involving attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
