Position Summary

The Supply Chain Manager oversees all aspects of purchasing, production scheduling, warehousing, and logistics. This role ensures efficient sourcing of raw materials, optimized production flow, and timely delivery of finished goods to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and production teams to maintain resources and align supply chain operations with business needs.
• Establish and monitor performance metrics to assess supply chain efficiency.
• Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies.
• Manage inventory levels to meet production and delivery goals.
• Analyze current procedures and recommend improvements for efficiency and profitability.
• Develop and implement policies that enhance supply chain performance, quality, and safety.
• Evaluate material-handling needs and recommend staffing or equipment adjustments.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; negotiate pricing and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify potential new sources to meet quality and delivery expectations.
• Oversee production scheduling to balance customer priorities, equipment availability, and material supply.
• Ensure materials are available to meet production schedules.
• Lead the customer service function to ensure accurate reporting of open orders.
• Enforce adherence to all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Perform additional tasks as needed to meet production and operational goals.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the injection molding industry.
• Supervisory experience required (minimum 3 years).
• Experience in manufacturing specifically injection molding.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
