Qualifications

• 2-5 years of corporate, partnership, individual tax experience in Public Accounting
• Knowledge of accounting principles and federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities.
• Sound business judgement with the demonstrated ability to earn the confidence, trust and respect of clients and team members.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Education: Bachelor's in accounting. EA, CPA, CPA eligible or equivalent amount of experience.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and reviewing tax returns
• Performing federal and state tax research and tax planning as necessary
• Assumes responsibility for engagements
• Communicates effectively with clients and team members.

Our firm uses Thomson Reuters suite of products, UltraTax, Fixed Assets, File Cabinet/GoFileRoom, AdvanceFlow, ACS. Knowledge of these programs a plus.

We offer flexible hours for tax staff outside tax season / could be part time if preferred.
