As a Security Officer - Unarmed Chemical Driver in Sauget, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.

As a Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help create a welcoming atmosphere while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This position requires a valid driver's license, as you may be responsible for driving as part of your patrol duties. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and observing for any unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help control access and maintain awareness of activity within the location.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity according to site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns specific to a chemical or petrochemical environment.
• Remain alert to potential hazards unique to chemical or petrochemical locations and respond according to established procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
