Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Social Worker to support students in a school setting located in Albuquerque, NM. This role involves providing direct services to students and collaborating with educators and families to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs that impact academic success and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop intervention plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling to support mental health and social development.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive learning environments.
• Connect students and families with community resources and support services.
• Document cases and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory policies.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance student outcomes.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) with appropriate licensure or certification.
• Experience working in school environments preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and school staff.
• Ability to manage multiple cases while maintaining confidentiality.
• Knowledge of community resources and referral processes.
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations.
