Miller Brother Staffing in York, PA has the immediate need of a Residential Helper on 1 st Shift.

JOB TITLE- Residential Helper



PAY RATE- $17-20/Hr BOE



SHIFT:

• 1 st Shift- 7:00am-3:30pm | Mon-Fri

3 MOST IMPORTANT THINGS THIS PERSON MUST HAVE-

• Attendance
• Willingness to learn and advance
• Able to understand basic math

JOB DESCRIPTION & DUTIES-

• This position works with residential customers at their homes, daily. So, MUST be personable with the general public.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation **They will be riding with the lead tech but the client prefers candidates that will be able to drive their vehicles in the future**
• This person will be helper for the lead person that installs our shower doors. Nothing overnight or outside of regular working hours (unless emergency arises).
• Must be proficient with measuring.
• Must be fine with heights as using ladders, scaffolding, and lifts will be needed at times.
• English measurements, tape measures, power tools, basic math (fractions) and problem-solving
• Experience with construction and or relative tools a big plus!
• Steel Toes Required
• Using precise measuring tools (micrometers and calipers)
• Must be able to read, write and communicate with customers and co-workers
• Organized and attention to detail
• Prompt/On-Time.

INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Installing shower doors
• Assisting Lead Person with whatever they need done
• Movement of materials
• Seeking candidates that are 25-30-minute radius from shop

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs; frequent bending, stooping, and stretching; being able to stand for prolonged periods of time; and ability to walk for prolonged period of time.
• Ability to frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
