We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of multiple concurrent projects managing work of 3-5 install crews and various subcontractors.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage multiple landscaping projects, ensuring they are executed efficiently and meet quality standards.
  • Prepare billings for AIA and Aspire platforms.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.
  • Adhere to the company’s authority chain to support the essential role in attaining the company’s objectives and making valuable contributions to the success of our projects.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure projects are kept on schedule and within budget constraints.
  • Coordinate and lead a team of landscapers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate completion of project phases, maintain contact with all general contractors throughout the project phases.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure work meets safety standards and client expectations.
  • Accountable for on-site concerns.
  • Proactively identify and address project issues, making necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports, billing, ordering of supplies and a thorough knowledge of each project.
  • Evaluate equipment needs and recommend purchases for optimal project execution, management of fleet rental.
  • Collaborate with design teams and architects to translate plans into actionable tasks.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and techniques to enhance project outcomes.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and training to team members as needed, provide training to foreman on back-end budget.
  • Consistently updates company Owner on project progress and supervises crews while maintaining schedule and budget adherence.
  • Implements safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions promptly to relevant managers.
  • Documents accidents, identifies extra work opportunities, and converts them into change orders when appropriate.
  • Manages the processing of change orders and interfaces with subcontractors and suppliers for project phases, progress and material delivery and receiving.
  • Ensures compliance with production standards, prioritizes safe equipment operation, and evaluates equipment utilization for future recommendations.
  • Submits vendor delivery tickets and paperwork weekly, analyzes job cost reports for Foreman, and maintains a thorough understanding of company policies.
  • Contributes to the development and implementation of the company's strategic plan, annual budget goals, and production-related training initiatives.
  • Coordinates with foremen on Human Resources-implemented training plans and evaluates the performance of Crew Leaders and crew members.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in landscape management of residential projects
  • Familiarity with construction management software.
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
