Applicant must have good communication skills. Able to follow verbal and written instructions provided for each pet assigned to their care.
Must be able to safely handle All Dog Breeds, recognizing signs of nervous, fearful pets and providing the comfort needed to keep them as calm as possible during the grooming experience. Assess condition of skin and coat and determining appropriate shampoo/conditioner. Once securing dog in bath tub, perform bathing session start to finish including ear cleaning, anal gland expression, nail trimming and filing, teeth brushing, etc. Capable of securing and controlling dog while blow drying.
