As a Patent Illustrator at AMG & Associates, you will hold a pivotal position in our operations, responsible for creating high-quality patent drawings that adhere to the USPTO guidelines. Your artistic skills and technical expertise will be instrumental in helping our patent attorneys and agents effectively communicate new inventions and ideas through detailed illustrations.

Key Responsibilities:

1- Create precise patent illustrations, including mechanical drawings, flowcharts, and technical diagrams.

2- Collaborate with patent attorneys and inventors to understand the inventions and their functionalities.

3- Ensure that all illustrations adhere to USPTO requirements and standards.

4- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from attorneys and clients.

5- Maintain an organized database of drawings and materials related to ongoing projects.

6- Stay updated on changes in patent law and illustration requirements.

7- Assist in preparing presentation materials and visual aids for client meetings.

Qualifications:

1- Bachelors degree in Industrial Design, Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.

2- Proven experience as a Patent Illustrator or within a similar role is highly preferred.

3- Proficient in drawing tools and software, such as AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, or similar applications.

4- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

5- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.

6- Knowledge of patent processes and intellectual property laws is an advantage.
