Job Description

• Pay: $40-43/hour

• Schedule: 16 hours/week
• Responsibilities: Provide personalized nutrition counseling to low-income, limited-English-speaking clients with interpreter support. Address chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, obesity, and hyperlipidemia. Offer specialized support for prenatal care, low-birthweight infants, and outpatient chronic disease management.

• Minimum of 2 years in community-based or clinical settings. Preferred experience working with teens in immigrant communities.
• Must complete 15 CE hours in diabetes-related topics within 6 months (if not a Certified Diabetes Educator).
• Proficient in outpatient nutrition support for chronic diseases and prenatal care counseling (CPSP experience preferred). Cultural competency in Latino and Asian/Pacific Islander dietary needs or willingness to learn.
