Job Summary

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure facilities, equipment, and systems operate safely and efficiently. This role helps prevent downtime, maintains a clean and functional environment, and supports overall operational needs.

This is a part-time position, working 2–3 days per week for approximately 12–16 hours per week. A unique benefit of this role is the opportunity to play golf on the course during downtime, once maintenance tasks are complete and course activity permits.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems
  
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs
  
• Diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions
  
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs
  
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
  
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  
• Assist with installation of new equipment or facility upgrades

Requirements:

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Proven experience in general maintenance or a related field
  
• Ability to read manuals and work orders
  
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  
• Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  
• Good communication and time-management skills
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects (typically up to 50 lbs)
  
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions
