Summary:


The Materials Helper supports material handling and logistics operations by assisting with receiving, staging, moving, and organizing materials and equipment. This entry-level position plays a critical role in maintaining safe, efficient job-site and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading, unloading, moving, and staging materials and equipment
• Organize and maintain materials storage areas and laydown yards
• Perform basic material handling using hand tools, dollies, pallet jacks, and carts
• Assist Materials Riggers, forklift operators, and supervisors as directed
• Help identify and label materials according to job-site requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and order of work areas
• Follow all safety rules, job-site procedures, and company policies
• Report damaged materials, missing items, or unsafe conditions to supervision
• Perform general labor and support duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

• May require a high school diploma or its equivalent and previous years of related experience.
• Preferred minimum of 6 months documented field experience in chosen craft discipline.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret instructions and documentation.
