F3 Marina is looking for a General Manager for the Downtown Sanford Marina
The GM of one of our marinas is responsible for overseeing all marina operations and ensuring that all goals, objectives and sales targets are met through planning, directing and managing the marina staff. In addition, the GM will oversee all capital projects and make recommendation for the upgrading of facilities to ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements. Providing excellence in customer service through all interactions and maintaining a productive working relationship with owners, board members or municipalities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, hotel management/engineering or equivalent and up to eight years of experience in boating/yachting and/or the hospitality sector. Sound knowledge of marina operations, boat lifting, handling, towing, plant and equipment maintenance. Experience in large scale capital projects is a plus. Ability to prepare business plans and monitor outcomes is desired. Proven skills in VHF communication, first-aid and fire-fighting procedures.
