ROLE IMPACT
Join a high-performing healthcare company as a licensed insurance representative focused on Medicare sales. This role plays a critical part in helping consumers navigate and enroll in Medicare plans, ensuring they access the coverage and benefits they need. Success in this position means driving enrollment, maintaining regulatory compliance, and delivering a seamless customer experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Sell Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Prescription Drug Plans to eligible consumers
• Educate clients on plan benefits, eligibility, and enrollment periods via inbound and outbound calls
• Recommend suitable ancillary insurance products based on individual needs
• Accurately document interactions and manage CRM updates in real-time
• Maintain compliance with CMS guidelines and organizational policies
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Active Health Insurance License
• 1+ year call center experience in a healthcare environment
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must pass background check and drug screen
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
• CRM and call routing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Five9)
• Medicare plan comparison tools
• Compliance and verification systems
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of CMS/AHIP standards (AHIP certification a plus)
PREFERRED SKILLS
• AHIP certification preferred
• Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus
• Prior Medicare sales or open enrollment experience strongly preferred
