Junior Motion Graphics Designer Genies is an AI avatar and games technology company powering the next generation of digital experiences. About the Opportunity Seated in our Los Angeles-based headquarters, Genies is looking for a Junior Motion Graphics Designer to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. Our ideal candidate is creatively driven, culturally fluent, and eager to bring the Genies brand to life across a variety of mediums. As a Junior Motion Graphics Designer, you’ll sit under the marketing team and work cross-functionally with partnerships, product, and creative teams to develop high-impact assets for social media, blog content, press campaigns, proposals, brand activations, and web experiences. This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes visual storytelling, has a pulse on emerging design, culture, and social trends, and is excited about the future of AI and motion design. We are looking for candidates that are comfortable experimenting with new tools and enthusiastic about pushing creative boundaries with evolving technology. What You’ll Be Doing: Create motion graphics, animated social content, and short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X. Design visuals for blog articles, press kits, web pages, and marketing campaigns that drive engagement and brand recognition. Collaborate closely with the marketing and partnerships teams on custom visuals for proposals and partnership activations. Collaborate with product and design teams on visual elements across product surfaces, digital experiences, or UI/UX. Explore and experiment with new creative tools, including AIGC and AI-assisted design platforms, to enhance workflow and creative output. Actively contribute creative ideas and propose concepts that go beyond the initial brief. Stay plugged into digital culture, Gen Z/Alpha trends, and visual storytelling best practices on social media. What You Should Have: 1–2 years of experience in motion design or graphic design, with a portfolio that includes motion design content and branded visuals. Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma. A solid foundation in brand design, layout, animation, and typography. Familiarity with or interest in AI-generated content tools and a willingness to learn and adapt to emerging workflows. A strong sense of aesthetic and an ability to match or evolve our existing brand style. Ability to work quickly and efficiently on multiple projects, balancing creativity with deadlines. Curiosity for digital culture, social media, gaming, fashion, and trends relevant to Gen Z and Gen Alpha. Bachelor’s degree in Motion Design, Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred. The actual base pay is dependent upon a number of factors, including: professional background, training, transferable skills, work experience, education, location, business and product needs, and market demand. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
