Solid Waste Engineering Project Manager

As a Solid Waste Engineering Project Manager in our Nashville, TN office, you'll be involved in the design, analysis, permitting, and preparation of drawings and technical specifications for solid waste disposal facilities, including coal combustion residual (CCR) and industrial facilities. You'll collaborate with clients, contractors, and local government officials from conceptual design through regulatory permitting, bidding, and construction. You'll also lead and mentor junior staff and play a key role in project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the design, permitting, document preparation, and construction quality assurance (CQA) of waste disposal facilities
• Proven ability to coordinate regulatory agency review and permitting processes
• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Environmental Engineering (Master's degree preferred)
• Professional Engineering (P.E.) license with ability to obtain Tennessee licensure
• Understanding of consulting project business practices and project delivery methods
• Strong project management and leadership capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience in proposal and report writing
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Autodesk Civil 3D
