Role Objective

The Immigration Attorney (Intake & Strategy) serves as the attorney supervisor for our intake team. Youll ensure that every potential new client (PNC) is properly qualified, conduct strategy sessions, issue-spot legal needs, and guide the intake team on eligibility and case alignment.

This position is the entry point for all new associate attorneys at NFIL, offering unmatched training in consultations, issue-spotting, and client communication. Unlike traditional associate roles, you will not carry a personal caseload, allowing you to focus on strategy and client evaluation rather than daily filings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead legal consultations/strategy sessions with potential new clients.
• Supervise intake team (sales specialists) for accuracy and compliance in client qualification.
• Remove fear by educating clients and simplifying complex legal issues.
• Document consultation outcomes in CRM, ensuring thorough, accurate records.
• Collaborate with attorneys and intake staff to improve processes and performance.
• Draft/review client contracts for compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Support business immigration consultations alongside senior attorneys.
• Participate in firm trainings focused on immigration law and consultation strategies.

Requirements

• Licensed Attorney: Active bar license in any U.S. state (immigration is federal).
• Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
• Immigration law experience is a plus, but not required ideal for new attorneys.
• Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in supervising staff and client qualification vs. carrying a caseload.
• Comfortable with CRM systems and case management tools.
• Organized, adaptable, and eager to grow in a mission-driven firm.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $85,000 annually
• Schedule: Tuesday Saturday, 10:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Location: Glendale, AZ
