JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking contract professionals to join Client as Gas & Chemical Technician. This is a hands-on, rewarding opportunity to support a critical role in semiconductor manufacturing, where you will help maintain the supply of chemicals and gases used to produce chips found in smartphones, LEDs, flat-screen TVs, and other electronic devices. This position offers comprehensive on-the-job training to quickly build technical skills and the potential for conversion to a permanent role, based on business needs and performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems.
• Handle and perform change-outs of gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative and repair maintenance on gas and chemical equipment.
• Utilize computer systems to support job functions and meet customer requirements.
• Support quality assurance systems and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to occasionally climb ladders with fall protection.
• Wear a site-supplied contained breathing air respirator when required (approx. 10–15 minutes while working with chemicals).
• Lift up to 40 lbs. as needed.
• Perform bending, kneeling, and overhead reaching.
• Wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, hard hats, earplugs, aprons, gloves, and site-approved safety boots (voucher provided).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and operate in a hands-on technical environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in maintenance, equipment technician roles, or mechanical/electronic environments.
• Previous experience with chemical or gas distribution equipment.
• Military training background.
• Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
