About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified person with the ability to focus and assist with the day-to-day operations at a single site facility with the purpose of maximum function and quality of time and effort during the daily process. The qualified candidate is familiar with day-to-day warehouse plant operations. The successful candidate will become part of an operations team supporting our large-scale food waste processing systems and onsite cogeneration plant to ensure they operate at peak efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Full time position as part of a warehouse team unloading and/or loading palletized material from trucks, moving palletized material within the warehouse
• Working with others on the warehouse floor to meet projected goals
• Being aware of work environment and surroundings
• Responsible for use of safety PPE, and adhering to company safety guidelines
• Communicating with team members effectively

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Must have a positive attitude
• Must be punctual
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must work well and communicate with others
• Must be able to understand and communicate in the English language
• Must have a strong work ethic; be a self-starter motivated by the company’s mission
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements including pre-employment drug test and all I-9 requirements
• Must have forklift certification or extensive fork lift operating experience
• Must also be able to perform physical activity such as: standing, walking without assistance, bending, reaching and lifting
• Must be able to lift 50 from floor to waist height
• Must be willing to learn, interact and adapt to new operating processes and environments
• Must have a level of organizational and problem solving skills
• Must adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations

Pay:

$20-$22 per hour depending on skill and experience.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift, Monday thru Friday 7:00am-3:30pm (1/2 hour lunch)
• Possibility of OT during the week and occasionally on Saturday
