Dependency & Family Law Attorney

Candidates without Family Law experience will not be considered for this role.

We are looking for an attorney who is enthusiastic about working with a team to help people when life's problems become legal problems.

We are looking for an attorney who can get right in and offer excellent representation to clients. You must demonstrate compassion and the ability to build connections with clients. This is a job for an experienced attorney who is skilled, knowledgeable, and self-assured in handling a workload with considerable autonomy while working with an excellent legal team.

We offer customized compensation plans to meet your desired billable hour range. The salary plan includes a base wage as well as production and performance bonuses. We offer medical & dental insurance and 401(k) matching. We also pay for authorized voluntary bar memberships, ongoing legal education, and bar dues.

Characteristics:

• Strong knowledge of laws and procedures to perform legal research and develop case strategy
• The ability to project confidence and competence while representing clients in the courtroom
• Punctual and reliable with a strong commitment to character, integrity, and work ethic
• The ability and flexibility necessary to work at a growing firm
• Exceptional communication skills are needed to work with all levels of staff and clients

$90,000 - $160,000 yearly

• Develop a legal strategy based on each client's goals, the facts of the case, and applicable law
• Attain or surpass the essential performance metrics for the role
• Delegate work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitor their work while taking full ownership for the outcome and all deadlines
• Organize client meetings to offer legal tactics, examine choices, and work tirelessly to find the best course of action
• Keep track of the time and value you provided to clients so you can evaluate what worked and what didn't, as well as what you might do better in the future

• Must have a proven track record of experience practicing as an attorney

• Licensed and in good standing with the WSBA
• Ability to attend court and meetings in person in Snohomish, King & Pierce Counties
