Dog Bather – For the Love of Dogs
Location: Fernandina Beach, FL
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Do you love dogs and want a job that’s fun, active, and rewarding? We’re looking for a Dog Bather to join our team and help pups look and feel their best!
What You’ll Do
Bathe and blow-dry dogs with care and patience
Answer phones and provide friendly customer service
Keep the salon clean and welcoming
Opportunity to learn grooming with paid training
What We’re Looking For
A true dog lover who enjoys working with all breeds and sizes
Positive, reliable, and team-oriented
Great communication and customer service skills
Experience in bathing or grooming is a plus, but not required
Skills & Qualifications
Genuine love for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities
Ability to safely handle and lift dogs (up to 75 lbs)
Patience and a calm demeanor when working with anxious or energetic pups
Strong attention to detail and cleanliness — from coat care to keeping the workspace sanitary
Good physical stamina; comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a fast-paced environment
Friendly and professional communication skills with both pet parents and team members
Reliability and punctuality — we count on you, and so do the pups!
Willingness to learn and grow — including the opportunity for paid grooming training
Bonus: prior pet care, grooming, or customer service experience (not required, but a plus!)
