DT (Dialysis Technician) - Correctional Facility; Orient, OH

Requirements of the DT - Dialysis Technician

• MUST have DT certification in the state of Ohio
  
• MUST hold a current CPR Certification
  
• MUST be authorized to Work in the US without Sponsorship
  
• Responsibilities of the DT - Dialysis Technician
  

Responsibilities of the DT - Dialysis Technician:

• Obtains and documents pre-dialysis vital signs to include weight and temperature Inspects patient’s dialysis access and inserts needed and initiates dialysis according to unit protocol and patient prescription
  
• Prepares dialysate according to established procedures and patient’s prescription
  
• Measures, calculates and adjusts blood flow rates according to established protocols and prescription
  
• Administers anticoagulant according to unit protocols and prescription
  
• Changes fluid removal rate and patient position and administers Normal Saline as directed by RN, ALP order or unit protocol
