Job Description/ Responsibilities

Datacentre Hands and Feet Support Engineer – Well versed in below activities

• Equipment Moves, Installation and Setup

• Troubleshooting and Break Fix Tasks

• Decommissioning and Disposal

• Maintenance and Repairs

• Monitoring and Reporting

• Inventory Asset Management

• Emergency Response

• Lab Cleanliness and Safety

• Basic Testbed Support

Mandatory Knowledge and experience in below tasks

• Install and configure hardware components such as servers, routers, and switches

• Installation and upgrade of IOS, OS, ESXi

• Help to replicate or build configurations based on customer requirement.

• Installation and networking of Managed Power Distribution Unites mPDUs

• Intra and Inter lab equipment and rack moves

• Cable management, including running, organizing, topology clean-up, and labelling network cables

• Troubleshooting and Break Fix Tasks

• Conduct basic diagnostics to identify hardware issues.

• Network debugging, tracking layer 1 to 3 issues

• Router, Switch, installation and Upgrade experience is must

• Rack & Stack, PDU installation experience is must

• Should have experience in labelling inventory tracking for components and devices inside Datacentre
