Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Center Server Lift Inspection Technician to join our data center operations team. This role is essential for ensuring the safety and functionality of server lifting equipment through regular inspections in accordance with an 18-point inspection checklist.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine inspections of server lifting equipment to ensure proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
• Perform inspections using an 18-point inspection checklist to identify any potential issues or areas of concern.
• Document and report inspection findings, including any wear, damage, or malfunctions that may require further maintenance.
• Collaborate with data center site leadership to escalate any identified issues requiring repairs or replacements.
• Ensure all lifting tools and equipment meet safety and operational requirements.
• Submit an electronic form, which will be provided, for each inspection performed.
• Follow strict safety protocols and company guidelines to prevent injury and equipment damage.
• Adhere to all data center safety rules and guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Proven experience in equipment inspections, particularly within a data center or IT infrastructure environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify mechanical or operational issues.
• Familiarity with data center operations and server hardware handling.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and handle heavy equipment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
