About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Information Security Analyst to join our team. This role bridges the gap between cybersecurity operations and business intelligence, helping ensure our security programs are informed, actionable, and aligned with organizational risk goals. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data analysis, reporting tools, and cybersecurity frameworks, with a working knowledge of identity and access management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret and apply cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST CSF , CRI , and ISO to support internal risk and compliance initiatives.
• Leverage business intelligence platforms such as SQL , DB2 , Power BI , Business Objects , Qlik , Tableau , and Excel/PowerPoint to analyze and visualize complex data sets.
• Provide insights, conclusions, and actionable recommendations based on data analysis to inform security decisions and operational improvements.
• Recommend and help implement measures to mitigate cybersecurity risk , including escalating high-risk activities for treatment when necessary.
• Identify operational roadblocks and propose timely remediation strategies and countermeasures .
• Collaborate with Information Security, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure risk mitigation and security goals are met.
• Consult on major components of the company’s information security infrastructure , offering expert guidance on controls, improvements, and best practices.
• Support area objectives through proactive consultation and data-driven decision-making .

Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, CRI, ISO).
• General understanding of Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts.
• Proven experience with data analysis and reporting tools : SQL, DB2, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Business Objects, Excel/PowerPoint, etc.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate data into insights .
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information and influence decision-making across departments.
• Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment .
• A passion for proactive risk management and continuous improvement.
