About The Team The FIS Cloud SRE team seeks an experienced Cloud engineer with a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially Terraform . You will design, implement, and maintain scalable, reliable cloud infrastructure in AWS, demonstrating responsibility and ownership to resolve complex problems. What You Will Be Doing Design, build, and document our next-generation Infrastructure as Code ecosystem. Implement a Well-Architected Framework for high-performance, available, resilient, and secure cloud infrastructure. Automate platform tasks to reduce manual effort and errors. Deploy and improve components like container services, load balancers, firewalls, databases, and observability tools. Serve as SME for AWS Cloud and Terraform. Enhance processes and best practices to meet security, cost, and agility standards. Maintain documentation for design and processes. Seek continuous improvements to SLA/Uptime and minimize customer impact. Ensure security and compliance policies are followed, adhering to frameworks like PCI, NIST, CIS. What You Will Need Experience with Cloud Services supporting cloud-native solutions. Expertise in building cloud infrastructure in complex environments using Terraform and Sentinel. Experience with high-availability, 24/7 uptime ecosystems with 99.99%+ SLA. Scripting skills in Python, Bash/Shell for automation. Knowledge of enterprise IT components (Networking, Databases, Messaging, RBAC) and platforms. Understanding of internet tech and microservice architectures. Ability to multitask across projects with varying priorities. Driven, committed to excellence. Knowledge of cloud databases like RDS, Aurora, etc. Experience with messaging systems like Kafka (MSK). Support and troubleshooting experience in production environments. Linux environment support and troubleshooting skills. Added Bonus HashiCorp Terraform certification. FIS products and services knowledge. Financial industry familiarity.
