Its expanded mission has made it one of the nation’s largest HIV/AIDS, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer/questioning (LGBTQ+) healthcare organizations. With 22 offices in 12 cities, it serves more than 67,000 individuals in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia each year through its diverse healthcare and social service delivery system focused around: primary and specialized medical care, retail pharmacy, dental, behavioral health, HIV/STI prevention, advocacy, and community health initiatives
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Chief Medical Officer is a key member of the Senior Executive team, engaged in defining the overall business strategy and direction of the Health Centers and Pharmacies. The position provides medical, dental, gender-affirming care, and mental health & recovery services clinical oversight, expertise, and leadership to ensure the delivery of affordable quality primary and specialty care services. Responsibilities also include the strategy, development, and implementation of innovative clinical programs that include collaboration with strategic business partners.
SALARY: $257,800-$322,300

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The essential functions of this role include but are not limited to, ensuring we maintain high-quality medical services; traveling, driving, or having reliable transportation; strong written and oral communication; relationship building; utilizing a computer for typing and research; attending and leading meetings; and presenting to small groups. The CMO will partner closely with the CEO and other senior leaders to lead strategic planning for primary and specialty care service lines. The CMO will provide supervision to the regional medical directors, dental director, gender-affirming care director, and the director of mental health & recovery services. The CMO will be expected to provide between 30%-50% of their time in direct patient care.
