Summary

JOB SUMMARY:

Cardiac Sonographers are an integral part of Northwest Hospital's Cardiac Care team! 

Coordinates daily operational and clinical activities to assist physicians in the treatment of patients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Performs Diagnostic Studies According to Protocol
• Maintains Patient Records according to regulations.
• Demonstrates professional responsibility in the Cardiac Sonographer role and ongoing clinical development.
• Complies with patient safety goals, policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Formal working knowledge; equivalent to an Associate's degree (2 years college); requires knowledge of a specialized field
• 1-3 years of experience
• American Heart Association BLS CPR Certification
• Cardiac Sonographer Certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovascular Credentialing Institute (CCI)
