US Tax Services LLC is an established firm in the Tigard area. The growth of the business necessitates the creation new tax accountant position to join our expanding team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing both business and individual income tax returns for numerous clients. This job can be either Full-time or Part-time depending on the candidate.

Responsibilities:

· Request, collect and compile all necessary documents needed to prepare tax returns
· Review, prepare and assist clients in preparing GAAP financial statements to prepare tax returns i.e. forms 1120, 1120S and 1065
· Prepare adjusting journal entries as needed, communicate financial results and explain and answer clients' questions
· Consult and assist clients on maintaining compliance with all state and federal regulations at all times
· Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve shared goals
· Prepare tax returns both business and individuals and submit for review

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in accounting, individual and business tax returns
• Fundamental knowledge of GAAP
• Experience in QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
• Proficiency in Microsoft and Google suite of products
• Detail and deadline-oriented
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Proficient communication skills, verbal and written

Compensation & Other Benefits:

• Salary of $55,000 to $70,000 depending on past experience and capabilities (Full-time). Comparable Hourly rate if Part-time.

Bookkeeping: 2-5 year (Preferred)
Payroll: 2 year (Preferred)
Tax Preparation: 2-5 years business and personal

License/Certification:

• CPA or CPA Candidate (Preferred)
• Licensed Tax Consultant (Preferred)
• Licensed Tax Preparer
• QuickBooks Pro Adviser
