Accountabilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable, reliable data solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Collaborate with multiple teams to gather, analyze, and refine data requirements.
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines from diverse sources while ensuring integrity and reliability.
• Perform data integration, transformation, and quality checks to maintain consistency and accuracy.
• Implement secure data storage and retrieval mechanisms with services such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines for smooth operations.
• Apply data governance best practices to ensure compliance, privacy, and accuracy.
• Support analysts and data scientists with high-quality datasets for data-driven insights.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience with Big Data technologies.
• Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud platform and its data services.
• Strong SQL skills with experience in SQL-based database systems.
• Experience in both batch and streaming data processing.
• Hands-on proficiency in frameworks and services such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Snowflake, and CosmosDB.
• Real-world experience with Azure Databricks and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a solid grasp of data engineering principles.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala programming.
• Azure-related certifications are an advantage.
