Production & Assembly Opportunity

Immediate full-time Production & Assembly positions with a large manufacturer in Zebulon! Starting pay: $13/hr. Paid weekly plus $100 bonus for working all scheduled hours. Paid every 2 weeks. Medical and dental benefits offered.

Work schedule:

• 1st Shift Assembler: 7am-4pm M-F and 6:30am-2pm M-F

Assigned a mentor who will train you on the job for the first 2 weeks. Need to be able to work in a hot environment. During the summer months, you can wear shorts.

If you answer yes to the below questions, this may be an excellent opportunity for you:

• Have you worked in a manufacturing environment for at least 1 year?
• Do you have at least 6 months of experience operating production machines or assembly in hot conditions?
• Do you have reliable transportation with a track record of good work attendance?

What will I be doing?

• Operating a CNC routing/trimming or a thermoforming manufacturing machine or performing assembly work
• Make adjustments to production machinery as needed to ensure products meet specs and minimize machine downtime and scrap rates
• Handle and pack product as needed
• Perform basic machine maintenance and adjustments as directed by shift lead
• Perform job setups on machinery as directed by shift lead
• Read and understand quality documents for in-house and specifications of products, and use that information for trimming process and keep products in spec

Requirements:

• Ability to speak and understand English or Spanish
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally and 40 lbs. frequently to operate thermoforming machine
• Learn how to setup and run CNC routing or thermoforming machinery, and demonstrate the ability to adjust machinery and control the production process
• Learn product quality requirements and applying that knowledge so that all parts being produced meet requirements
• Work well in a team environment, assisting others as needed with their work or to solve problems
• Must have the ability to safely and effectively use a large variety of hand and power tools
• Work in a hot environment and be on your feet for up to 10 hours/day
