Job Summary:

The Accounting Assistant will support the automotive accounting department with daily tasks and will be cross-trained in multiple areas of the office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in developing a career in accounting. Previous accounting experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and tag & title work
• Enter and maintain accurate financial data in the accounting system
  
• Assist with month-end closing procedures
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting team
• Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency across all accounting functions

Qualifications:

• Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred, but not required
