Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team in the fast-paced environment of retail management. The Account Expeditor with preferred, Shipping Coordinator experience is responsible for supporting all areas of the account management and shipping process by following the necessary procedures to ship products accurately and efficiently to customers and manage accounts. This is an in-person role in Cumberland RI.

Duties

• Ensure that orders are shipped in accordance with customer routing guides
• Maintain working knowledge of customer compliance requirements
• Communicate with customers and trucking companies to confirm/coordinate routing and pickups
• Supply order, routing, and shipment information to EDI and CSR departments
• Route shipments via customer routing portals
• Create UPS/FedEx labels for small parcel shipments
• Send ASNs via email and vendor portals
• Create pallet labels with all pertinent shipment information
• Coordinate outbound shipments and create shipping documentation
• Answer phones and provide assistance with pick up appointments
• Some processing, routing, ASN'ing and invoicing orders for major customers
• Communicate with all departments in the company as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 2 years' work experience, preferably in a DC setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general database programs
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and positive attitude
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
• Readiness to perform various tasks that are covered under the as well as any that arise as the position evolves
• Experience with Amazon, Target or Walmart a plus
• Experience with QuickBooks and a major VAN (TrueCommerce, SPS Commerce, CommerceHub, etc.) a plus
